Fitted sheets: wonderfully soft for a good night's sleep
A fitted sheet is a bottom sheet with elastic that fits around a mattress. Fitted sheets are an important part of your bedding, because you touch them all night long. With a fitted sheet you protect your mattress from perspiration and you can add a nice color. Because the eye wants something too!
Our range of fitted sheets
In the wide range of Bath&Living you will find fitted sheets in all kinds of colors and of different materials such as cotton and satin cotton. But also various jersey cotton fitted sheets with fine stretch, moltons and topper fitted sheets. Toppers are thinner mattresses that are used as extra comfort and protection for the underlying mattress. The difference between topper fitted sheets and standard fitted sheets is the corner height. In addition, we have fitted sheets that are specially designed for split topper mattresses.
Fitted sheet dimensions
The dimensions of a fitted sheet are important, so that this sheet fits perfectly around your mattress. This gives a nice look and is comfortable to sleep on. Make sure you know the exact dimensions of your mattress, so that you are sure that your fitted sheet is suitable. In our range you will find fitted sheets with these dimensions:

As you can see, our fitted sheets are made for a single mattress, a small double bed, a double mattress and a twin bed. All standard fitted sheets are suitable for mattresses and box springs with a maximum corner height of 24 cm and a jersey fitted sheet even up to 30 cm. Due to the extra high corners and good stretch, the jersey fitted sheets often even fit around a mattress including topper.
Topper fitted sheet
A topper or top mattress is a thin mattress on top of your regular mattress. This will not only make sleeping extra comfortable, but it is also practical. You can turn it more easily and your mattress will last longer.
Because a topper is lower than a mattress, you need a special fitted sheet. A topper fitted sheet goes up to 15 cm and has, just like the other fitted sheets, a very handy elastic on the entire edge. Choose a topper fitted sheet made of percale cotton, Jersey Soft or Jersey Supreme in a wide variety of colours.
Split topper fitted sheet
In addition to the regular topper fitted sheet, we also have fitted sheets for toppers with split. These split top mattresses are specially made for adjustable beds. The split allows the topper and the fitted sheet to move with the bed. The split topper fitted sheets from our range are made of jersey in combination with Lycra® for a wonderful stretch and are available in various colours.
What color fitted sheet?
A white fitted sheet is the standard; this looks fresh and neat and basically goes with everything. Try a different colour! Use your fitted sheet as a styling tool and choose a colour that best matches the rest of your bed. Sometimes off-white is just a bit nicer than a white fitted sheet, anthracite matches the headboard of your box spring perfectly or you want to create a romantic atmosphere with a colour accent in a pink shade. Cotton fitted sheet
At Bath&Living you can choose from fitted sheets made of different materials, each with their own properties. All fitted sheets contain cotton, sometimes combined with elastane for extra stretch. Cotton is naturally good at absorbing moisture and ventilating, which makes it perfect for a fitted sheet.
Percale cotton
Our fitted sheet from percale is a 100% cotton fitted sheet, available in 9 beautiful basic colours. From white and off-white to beige, grey, taupe, anthracite and black. This finely woven cotton has a high quality of 200 thread counts. Percale cotton has a matte appearance and feels smooth and crispy fresh. Because a percale cotton fitted sheet feels cooler than a terry cloth or jersey fitted sheet, this is very suitable for spring and summer. We also have sheets without elastic that are made of percale cotton in colours that match the fitted sheets.
Satin cotton
Even a little smoother than percale satin cotton. This is a supple cotton that gets a light sheen through the weaving technique. Our fitted sheets made of 100% satin cotton have a thread count of 210. The silk finish feels wonderfully soft and gives a luxurious look. Due to the elastic that is all around, this fitted sheet fits nicely around your mattress and stays in place. The satin fitted sheet is available in more than 10 colours, from neutral shades to beautiful accent colours.
Jersey fitted sheet
We are proud of our extensive collection of jersey cotton fitted sheets. Jersey is a knitted cotton with an open structure, which promotes air circulation. Jersey cotton is known for its softness and stretch properties due to the addition of polyamide or polyester fibers such as elastane. Each Vandyck jersey fitted sheet is made with Lycra®. This is the brand name of high-quality elastane that ensures good stretch and always returns to its original shape after stretching. We have two series of jersey fitted sheets from Vandyck: Jersey Soft and Jersey Supreme.
Jersey Soft
This jersey fitted sheet is made of 95% cotton and 5% Lycra with a weight of 175 grams/m². The Jersey Soft fitted sheet is wrinkle-free, does not pill and feels wonderfully soft due to the special Aloe Vera finish. Due to the good stretch and the elastic that is all around the sheet, the fitted sheet always fits comfortably tight around the mattress. Although a jersey fitted sheet is nice all year round, it is a better option for the colder nights than cotton or satin. This is because it is thicker and feels warmer. The Jersey Soft is available in all kinds of colors and also as a topper fitted sheet, with and without split.
Jersey Supreme
The Jersey Supreme is with a weight of 235 grams/m² even more luxurious than the Jersey Soft. With this jersey fitted sheet you choose extra comfort, especially if you get cold quickly. The Jersey Supreme is also made of 95% combed cotton and 5% Lycra with Aloe Vera finish and has an elastic all around. Basically the same properties as the Jersey Soft, but of much thicker quality. The Jersey Supreme series has an extensive collection of colors, available for mattress and (split) topper.
Molton fitted sheet
To optimally protect your mattress and keep it nice and clean, also use a mattress protector under your fitted sheet. molton fitted sheet.We have a molton for a mattress up to 30 cm and for a top mattress up to 15 cm. You can also find fitted sheets for split topper mattresses at Bath&Living. Each Molton Stretch is made of 80% cotton and 20% polyester with a pile of 100% cotton (210 grams/m²). The pile is on the top of the molton, so the polyester only comes back on the bottom. The moltons have elastic all around for a good fit.
