The core consists of a soft foam filling that allows you to lounge wonderfully. This is surrounded by a TPU coating that does not allow water to pass through. This TPU film is flexible and elastic, which means that the softness of the lounge sofa is not lost. The fabric on which you lie has a cozy feel and a homely appearance; it is a soft bouclé fabric with a mottled color. The fabric is woven from weatherproof polyester yarn and treated with a PA coating that makes it UV and water resistant. This makes it an ideal outdoor textile with the comfort of indoor furniture.
How do you choose the right modular lounge sofa?
Before you buy a lounge sofa, measure how much space you have to determine your options. But it is also important to consider what your desired number of seats is. For example, the modules have 'chaise longue' and the '2-seater element' somewhat similar dimensions (75x145 cm and 95x130 cm). How do you connect the modules to form a lounge sofa?
Have you chosen a few elements that you want to place separately to create a cozy lounge set? Or do you want to connect your chosen modules firmly to each other to create a comfortable lounge sofa? In the latter case, it is important to also connect the corresponding base plates and the correct number connectors to order. Each module has the same numbered base plate (module M1 to M5) and each connector set allows you to connect two base plates together.
Reinforcement and legs
Even if you do not want to make a connection, a base plate is a nice addition to your Grow module. By sliding the plate into the special compartment under the furniture, more stability is created. In addition, there are 2 cm high furniture legs at the base plate. These ensure that your lounge sofa or loose elements do not come into contact with moisture for a long time.
Tips for maintaining your modular lounge sofa
The base plates are not the only optional additions to your modular lounge sofa. There are also protective covers available, for each module separately. By covering your lounge set with this outside of use, you can maintain the original quality for as long as possible.
Good maintenance is also important for this. The Meda sprays from Blomus can help with this. cleaning spray can be used to clean stains or remove unpleasant odors. We recommend that after cleaning the impregnating spray to use. This is intended to add an extra layer to outdoor textiles that is water and dirt repellent.
Don't have these sprays at home? Then you can still maintain your garden bench or lounge module well. You can simply wipe loose dust or sand off the lounge bench. If there is a stain, it is best to remove it as soon as possible to prevent it from soaking into the fabric. You can easily clean stains with a soft, damp cloth. Make sure you do not use hot water for this; not warmer than 38 degrees Celsius. Dab wet spots with a dry cloth. Never use excessive heat, but let the Grow modules air dry.
